History & Evolution

KELD was started in the year 1987 as a Joint Venture with Keld Ellentoft A/S, Denmark (later known as KE-Burgmann A/S). In June 2000, the Indian promoters bought the shares of KE-Burgmann and acquired complete control of the company. KELD has assimilated all necessary expertise for designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing of Non-Metallic Expansion Joints.

KELD started operations in 2002 in the Middle East market through agents and has established a strong presence there with supplies to many customers in that region.

In 2008, KELD decided to diversify into multiple products through strategic partnerships to manufacture Metallic and Rubber Expansion Joints.

In 2010, KELD tied up with Aciers MCM Steel, Canada to acquire technology for design and manufacture of Industrial Dampers.

In 2011, KELD has entered into an agreement to manufacture its products in the Middle Eastern region to better service the customers there by providing faster deliveries.
